The decision to use NT on the cruiser last year (the one
that blue
screened an put the ship dead-in-the-water) was made by a
committee
of three people (obviously MS brainwashees). That decision
is being
revisited. It sure makes my day when I go on a submarine
and see
the all-too-familiar motif screens purring away flawlessly.
I've
talked with the network admins on a couple subs, and they
say
Unix works like a champ, and NT and Novell cause all of
their
problems.

Too bad those who make the decisions don't consult those who
have
to live with the decisions.
