[SuSE Linux] Window Maker 0.50.1 fails under SuSE 5.3 ?

Looks to be a M4 error on the compile:
 # make
cd . && aclocal
aclocal: configure.in: 15: macro `AM_PROG_LIBTOOL' not found in library
make: *** [aclocal.m4] Error 1


Anyone have a work around ?
