Be sure that inetd is up and running then look for a bad routing table (i dont
mind this but maybe... is it).
Before all, do you have BNC or RJ ethernet cable ?! If you got the first check
for all terminations and cable problems, if you got the second check for the
HUB LEDs and if don't have the hub check for the twisted RJ-45.
