I couldn't get it to compile in the kernel either. So I use the 'alsa' sound drivers. They work well. Better than oss (+ you don't have to pay 20$ + it's not time crippled) I'd give you a url but I'm at work right now. Just do a search for "+alsa +linux" and this should give you the page. ciao, harry P.S. please don't send messages as html :( > --------------------------------------------- > Attachment: > MIME Type:multipart/alternative > --------------------------------------------- <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD W3 HTML//EN"> <HTML> <HEAD> <META content=text/html;charset=iso-8859-1 http-equiv=Content-Type> <META content='"MSHTML 4.72.3110.7"' name=GENERATOR> </HEAD> <BODY bgColor=#ffffff> <DIV><FONT color=#000000 size=2>Hi NetPeople!</FONT></DIV> <DIV><FONT color=#000000 size=2></FONT></DIV> <DIV><FONT size=2>My tremendous Ensoniq AudioPCI doesn't work in any way with kernel 2.0.36 :-(</FONT></DIV> <DIV><FONT size=2>Who knows something about?</FONT></DIV> <DIV><FONT size=2></FONT></DIV> <DIV><FONT size=2>Thanks</FONT></DIV> <DIV><FONT size=2>Giovanni Cambria ;-)</FONT></DIV></BODY></HTML> ;-)</FONT></DIV></BODY></HTML> ____________________________________________________________________ Get free e-mail and a permanent address at http://www.netaddress.com/?N=1 - To get out of this list, please send email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with this text in its body: unsubscribe suse-linux-e Check out the SuSE-FAQ at http://www.suse.com/Support/Doku/FAQ/ and the archiv at http://www.suse.com/Mailinglists/suse-linux-e/index.html
