My internals modems work fine. I have 2x USR Courier 56k's in the
     machine. and both work perfect.

O.k., I found out that my modem won't work under Linux. Same goes for my
soundcard. I was warned about this in the book "Mastering LINUX". The
writer, Arman Danesh, says '...you are best off without a Plug-and-Play
modem, and should really consider spending the small amount of extra
money required to get an external modem'. Too bad I took notice of Linux
after I got my new rig. My question is; is there an internal modem that
will work under Linux or will I have to get an external one? If I do need
to get an external modem, is an E-Tech a good choice? Any suggestions?
Thanks.
