Basically, the solution was to sent e-mail requesting a registration
number (if it wasn't included with the book) to SuSE. I did so, but
haven't received a reply.
I'm still wondering how the registration number will make installation
possible. In my case, the "next" button (to be used after the
registration number is inserted) is "blanked out." I'd be surprised if
it will blank itself on again once the correct number is inserted.
