We'll it is working much better thanks to tips I received from the mail list. Thank you! The problem is I can't run x any better than 800 x 600 16bp. This would drive me nuts if i didn't have 17inch monitor. I set my video card up via sax and if I set my memory any higher than 4mb <i have 8mb> the cursor is white square and text/fonts go away. I used the sw_cursor and no_bitblt options and this fixed that in 800 x 600 16bp but not in 1024 x 768 16bp. I use the svga server because the xfcom_sis was added to it. RamDac 175. I don't know if it matters but the video is onboard. Any info helpful.
