I have resisted using "rpm" directly and so I have been using YaST to
install RPMs as I get them. I did look at the man page for rpm and I did
a few queries to see what package owns some of the kde utilties I can no
longer run. I get the following:

bash-2.02# rpm -qf ktop
ktools-alpha-50
bash-2.02# rpm -qf kdiff
kadm-alpha-45
bash-2.02# rpm -qf kless
ktools-alpha-50
bash-2.02#

These are older packages than what are part of KDE 1.1.

My only question regarding rpm is how to get it show me a list of what
files are contained within an .rpm file? I tried: rpm -ql <filename>.rpm
and on every file I tried this on I get a not installed error message
like so:

Linux/KDE1.1> rpm -ql  klibs-1.1-1.i386.rpm
package klibs-1.1-1.i386.rpm is not installed
