[SuSE Linux] kppp fails [kppp helper fails!] after KDE 1.1-1 upgrade
I stand corrected. After the upgrade to KDE 1.1-1 the problem is NOT the
tradtional "LOCK is still in the Options file" or "pppd hangs
unexpectedly"...
...no, this is a brand new problem.
The kppp application functions fine. THE VERY INSTANT I hit the "connect"
button I get a collapse of the program and a screen explaining:
"A kppp helper application failed. So I stopped this pointless connection
attempt"
The screen really says something like that!
There is no LOCK in Options.
I have tried with BOTH the "use the lock file" selected and deselected.
