Hi all,
I posted a thread recently abt my failure to get the Adaptec
aic7895 scsi controller working under linux. I tried SuSE 6.0 and it
loaded the generic aic7xxx driver which doesn't seemed to work well. In
my desperation, I tried using Redhat but it doesn't work as well (Who
was I kidding anyway..:) ). Anyway, my SCSI HDD and CDROM are both
completely useless. Is there anyone out there who had success with this
particular controller? Lenz?

I loaded in my IDE HDD and compiled this controller into the kernel.
When I boot it up, it hung intermittenly. Seems like a driver problem. I
tried searching SuSE site for help but to no avail.

TIA
