I don't believe so.  I installed it using the tgz files (sometimes called
tarballs, I gather).  Since the world is supposedly switching to SuSE 6.x,
I'd guess it's unlikely that 5.3 rpm's will ever appear.

My installation via the tarballs took quite a few hours, but KDE 1.1 under
5.3 does seem to be working as it should.

By the way, I'm waiting for 6.1 before I upgrade.  Usually I find that it
takes a while for the x.0 version of anything to stabilize.
