aaa_dir-99.1.7-0d
Well, this package only creates directories and i assume if you can
force it's installation over itself, the only results will be that
directories that doesn't not exists (as the var that you kill...
ASSASSIN!!!! ;->), will be recreated. This package should come within
the first CD of SuSE (at "base" group of YaST); you must install it by
hand anyway... locate the packate in CD's and then do a
rpm -i --force aaa_dir-99.1.7-0d.rpm
I think that should works. I didn't try it obviously ;-)...
I'm not totally sure that this will resolve your problem, so take a look
at the file that i'll send atached with this doc. It contains all the
relations between all *MY* stuff below var directory, perhaps you should
install more packages in order to recover another things.
Aditionaly, you can do an script that query files for all your rpm's
installed and list those that have any missing below /var in order to
reinstall only them.
Good luck!
