IP masquerading seemed much easier with 5.3. With 6.0, we just
can't get it working properly, went through the howto's did everything
we read about and still no good. The ip masquerading module loads at boot
time, but nothing gets through.
Would someone with a lot of experience please take the time
to write out the steps to follow to get ip-masqurding working
with SuSe 6.0? At this point, we have changed so many things
in an effort to get it working that we may have set something
wrong. We use wvdial for our dialer, which worked well with
SuSE 5.3 and ip masqurading, but not sure if that could be
a problem with 6.0.
Any information that you care to offer will be sincerely appreciated,
maybe someone could eventually write up some kind of script
to step people through the process, make it as easy to use as
In-joy for OS/2 :)
