Hi George,

Try the following. cat  <wave file>  > /dev/dsp . This might give a sound.
My computer at work also uses a CS4232. it works perfectly.  If it doesn't
work can you please sent me your .configure file in /usr/src/linux . Than i
will try to find out what might be wrong.
