I have a NEC 340T laptop running suse 6.0
both OSS and my compiled sound.o module
load fine and all wavplay/rec play sox work great,
Except the MIC is alway live, meaning i hear the mic audio
being amplified thru the speakers all the time ! WHY ?
nec spec is at

sound chip is an ESS1688? i think
