Greetings SuSE Land,
Just downloaded the new kernel from the uk mirror of kernel.org and
compiled/installed it without a hitch. (US mirror did not have it yet.)
I have a pretty generic setup. busmouse, internal modem, atapi cdrom and
drive, and iomega old zip 100 ppa, and a vibra 16 soundcard, v330
video, AFAIK, everything checks out. On SuSE 6.0
BTW, I did not do any extra symlinks besides ln -s linux-2.2.5 linux.
On a unrelated note: check out cdcd on freshmeat. It's a cool
command line audio cdplayer with cddb support...that actually works.
Small download and easy compile install.
