Check your /etc/resolv.conf
Or reconfigure name servers through yast.
It should look like this:

search your.domain.name
nameserver 192.168.1.1 <-- ip of your name server
nameserver 192.168.1.2

After you made changes -- do not forget:
# killall -HUP inetd
# host www.netscape.com --> should return netscape's numeric IP
