I would also recommend joe. It comes in three flavors and I really
like jstar which does a lot of wordstar stuff. You can customize it by
finding the joerc file in /usr/lib and copying it to your home
directory as .joerc. Same with jstar. There is a file there called
jstarrc and this can just get copied to your home directory. The config
files are quite commented so making changes is easily done.
