I have Debian runnign on an E5000. Disk partitioning is clumbsy, but it works great right after.
Let me know if you have any luck with it. -----Original Message----- From: Pablo Niklas [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: Thursday, April 11, 2002 5:24 PM To: Solarisexpert.com; [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: Re: [suse-sparc] install problems on E5000 -----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 El Jue 11 Abr 2002 17:42, escribi: > all you need to get it to work is to have 1 FC-AL controller connected to > LA and your boot disk into slot 0 (of course you can do differently, as you > like). Thanks a lot for the explanation!!! Mmmm.. Perhaps you right... But you know.. SUSE gives you support if you pay :( And in the CD I didn't see any images for drivers....anyway the E3500 doesn't have any floppy drive to put the diskette into. I will try tomorrow with Debian. It's a shame.... SUSE is a great distro but it's not so "free" :( - -- .:: Pablo Niklas ::. .:: [EMAIL PROTECTED] ::. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Grafiti del dia // Today's Graffity // Graffity von heute: If you analyse anything, you destroy it. -- Arthur Miller ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.0.6 (GNU/Linux) Comment: For info see http://www.gnupg.org iD4DBQE8tf7m18pXFOsyhMIRAikrAJ9ZPwTqN3/NlNiqWwW92tbWJKW1nQCSA2Rv wNtwfAWWh0PkSPy4h7awYg== =ic0e -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
