I tried the patch attached to this bug: http://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=2039 ...but it didn't change anything. That was before I was using netconsole, though... I wonder if anything useful is printed, or if the acpi methods even get called. Can examining the DSDT tell me that?
