Tell me what I can do to help. I assume you have already tried with "vga=0" (i believe, slackware uses a vga console anyway, but i am not sure)? Also, booting in a plain shell (init=/bin/sh) and not loading anything non-essential before trying (no USB, NIC, ... drivers) will rule out lots of driver issues.
