I was able to get Suspend to RAM working on a Dell XPS M1710 laptop by
editing /etc/pm/config to include s2ram's "-f" flag:
S2RAM_OPTS="-f"
# s2ram -i
This machine can be identified by:
sys_vendor = "Dell Inc."
sys_product = "MXG061 "
sys_version = ""
bios_version = "A03"
