Oops. That was an error of me, i meant "pm-suspend", but you figured that out
:-)
For testing pm-hibernate, an additional "swapon -a" would be necessary.

Yes, the X server in this case restores the display. If we have a chance
to get it working in text console also, we try to do this. This is why i
asked you to test in text mode also :-)
