ok, I appologize, s3_bios and s3_mode are necessary, vga=0 not. so the final whitelist entry looks like this { "FUJITSU SIEMENS", "LIFEBOOK T4210", "", "", S3_BIOS|S3_MODE|PCI_SAVE }, (s2ram -f -a 3 -v)
