I tried s2ram on my Acer TravelMate 2420 laptop. s2ram reports that this
machine is unknown:

s2ram -f seems to work for me (saves and restores running X session).
I am running Debian testing system with stock Linux 2.6.18-4-686,
uswsusp 0.3~cvs20060928-7, hibernate 1.92-2, xserver-xorg 7.1.0-18,
xserver-xorg-video-i810 1.7.2-4.
