Ok, so this is a driver issue with the pvr150 and should be reported
to the driver authors. Maybe just unloading the driver before suspend
and reloading it after resume helps.

It's hard to imagine how the stand-by option can not work, since you
need no additional workaround. Maybe you just need to enable it somewhere.
I have no idea how to do that on ubuntu, though, maybe it is just a bug
that you should report.
