I'm glad to let you know that s2ram works fine on my machine running
openSUSE 10.2
Here are my outputs:
# uname -r
2.6.18.8-0.5-default
# s2ram -i
This machine can be identified by:

sys_product = "R19/R20/R21"
sys_version = "09SH"
bios_version = "10SH"
