Hey there, I'd like to report that s2ram (version 0.3~cvs20060928) is mostly working on my machine. In graphical mode it works with "s2ram -f", whereas in text mode I tested all combinations listed on http://en.opensuse.org/S2ram#How_to_contact_the_authors_of_s2ram.3F. Except for "-a 2" and "-a 3" (which don't work at all) my laptop wakes up properly, but the screen stays black until I switch to terminal 7 (graphical mode). Then everything works fine, I can even switch back to the console without any problems.
Here is the information about my machine: sys_vendor = "Sony Corporation" sys_product = "VGN-FE31M" sys_version = "C3LMPNKQ" bios_version = "R0170J3" I'm running Debian testing/lenny and I have a nvidia graphics card with the proprietary drivers installed (version 100.14.11). Btw, even the Intel 3945 wlan chip works flawlessly after wakeup. I hope this report is helpful, if you would like any additional information or want me to try anything else, please feel free to contact me. I don't use text mode much and don't mind switching back and forth once after resume, so it basically works for me, thanks and keep up the good work! ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by: Splunk Inc.
