Sam,

Insta-Pro has a system that is exactly in line with this need. I cannot
vouch explicitly for yields or mechanical durability. I do know that at some
point in time, many of the small grain handlers opt out of Insta-Pro
equipment in lieu of Dupps to improve efficiencies.

(I don't believe they would care to hear that.)

However, numbers have been crunched for biodiesel production using Insta-Pro
extruders and expeller presses for soybeans and profitability is there.

PTO models are available.

If you are in an area where your meal can be consumed locally - such as a
nearby dairy, etc. - you will find this type of venture entirely feasible .
If you are selling the feed meal bulk to another distributor, you'll need to
keep a keen eye on your buyer and every fraction of a penny offering.

You will also need to contend considerably with the high volumes of glycerin
byproduct. There are outlets for $0.08 - $0.10 a pound crude glycerin,
making it worthwhile to store and transport in bulk.
