Hi Keith and Terry, Thanks for the feedback. There are some puzzles in that article about the work of Fox and Ginosar. I had briefly explored the idea of using microorganism-derived or digestive-related enzyme catalysts, but was not impressed by what I initially found. The catalysts were quite expensive, and the yields and process conditions seemed unfavorable. These fellows must be using some other catalyst. Also, the article mentions Simplot in connection with their work, as though perhaps Simplot would want to assist in carrying this project to completion. Simplot has deep enough pockets to fund the work, generates WVO, and could use a whole lot of biodiesel within their own operations, so it is puzzling why these fellows are still looking for money.
