          Give it a go. Reading the book the author has a sharp mind. Unless
he has got Alzheimers or Parkinsons or something he is likely to still have
a very sharp mind. If approached in the right manner he would probably be
only too willing to help. Most old people have a lifetime of experience and
if matched with intelligence the solutions they offer are often a lot better
and a lot more practical.
