Back in the original gasoline crunch of the '70's everybody was adding water injectors better camshafts, headers and all sorts of stuff to increase milage. One guy wrote in to a magazine that he had installed all of the devices they had recomended over a years time. He said his milage was so good that every 60 miles he had to stop and remove a gallon.
