Well first off the best way to do that would be to just use the solenoid
that is already there. When you turn the key off then the solenoid shuts
down and no more fuel. You might not want to do that for extended periods
like on long downgrades for fear of pump damage. Your gain would be so
little as to not make it much worthwhile. You could only use it when going
down long grades..
