I don't yet ride a motorcycle, but, riding a bicycle, I know what you mean.
I now avoid the main roads, and take the secondary roads that parallel the
main roads ( a block or two over ) traffic is no ware as bad and many times
I get there just as fast or faster, because I 'm not fighting traffic on the
main road.
