Hello Glenn And Edward,

Thank you both for responding so quickly. I did google through AOL and in
the first 250 sites only found reference to biox as the university and
monteco plus other unrelated sites. Knowing that the system is being
developed for sale/lease I did not think that I was going to get the
proprietary info to develop my backyard system. I like to think of people
giving a more rounded conversational response. I have watched my wife and
other Profs in her group leave a little more on the table, sort of like the
folks in this group. Just me I guess.

First, a letter of thanks for speedy response was sent ASAP to the Prof.. My
wife is also a Prof, here in the states so I do know about time being dear,
at least from the spouses point of view.
I guess one of my disappointments was in the Prof's "I suspect that
people sewer the glycerol and wash water, "
and "it is nowhere near Biodiesel standard and could possibly over the long
haul cause both injector and engine problems".
I prefer to give folks the benefit of the doubt, until proven
otherwise at least. And in regard to long haul problems I thought the testing
done at the city, park and university levels with 100k plus miles showed no
problem and increased lubricity over fossil fuel. That may have led to my "I
have something better than you and your ethics and process stink" response.

I have only given an initial glance at the ASTM regs on biodiesel, and do not
know how far off the home brew process is. I'll take your word on that
Edward.

Just my reactions.
" I maybe wrong, it wouldn't be the first time."

Erik
