Well, I think it has something to do with ... what I call the "sweat theory".
The easiest way to put it (without getting lenghthy) is to remember the old bible adage. When God commands Adam ... "by the sweat of thy brow ... thou shall eat". In other words ... by the work that we put into the land ... an equal amount we are fed. Balance. Continuing that analogy, Man is perhaps the only creature .... that perpetually spends his days ... dreaming of "bigger and better ways" ... to put himself into a position of what he calls "power". And by doing so, finds way and means to "steal" "a drop of sweat (see definition above) from each of his fellow human beings" "adding these drops together ... until enough to feed himself" FOR FREE. That's the big-key ...... FOR FREE. It's the common thread. Think of it: Poor salesman souls on the bottom ... feeding the big AMWAY (or other MLM) DIAMOND big honcho on top. Poor assembly workers making electronics .... feeding the big Corporate CEO on top millions Poor govt subjects on the bottom .... big PALACES for the king/prince/etc. King of the hill .... King of the hill .... King of the hill ....... Then, self sustainance is not enough. GREED ... takes over. Let's see how we can squeeze MORE .... and MORE "sweat" out of each poor soul. Let's see how we can make each poor soul LIVE ON LESS sweat given back (so more can come to me). We then get words ... like "efficiency" .... "profit" .... "economics". Wonderful world we live in.
