We had a reported 8000 at the anti-war rally in Lismore. The Lismore area has a population of about 30000. Fantastic turnout. Keith, It sounds like you should look @ Linux. I would suggest Knoppix, which can be set up to use your Windows partition, & boot from CD. The advantage of using Linux is that there is only a small chance that you can be infected by a Virus. Most virii work on the Windows IIS system, which is embedded in their mail & browsing programs, & in the networking software. By moving to another operating system, the virus can't run, so innocuous. I haven't had an anti-Virus program on my computer for 3 years. Occasionally I will open an attachment that looks fishy, but It has nothing to work on, so gets ignored. Once you make the move to Linux, you will find it is faster than that persons' competing operating system. & the other thing I like is the ability on a search of opening multiple pages with little system speed degradation. (On a google search, I click 'new page for interesting URLs, so open heaps, then as they come up, I delete them if I dont want them. I have had 40+ pages open at once, with little speed change. regards, Doug Biofuel at Journey to Forever: http://journeytoforever.org/biofuel.html Biofuels list archives: http://archive.nnytech.net/ Please do NOT send Unsubscribe messages to the list address.
