i already done transesterification with acid-base method. when i finished the acid stage, the glycerin formed and i found that the acid value still high, but the cpo was less viscous then before. and after i separated the glycerin i continue with the base stage for one hour. but the cpo being more viscous and solidified at room temperature. i cant figure it out what happen and why. i use methanol with 1:6 ratio to cpo and 1%wt NaOH.maybe i have to add the NaOH, but how much???please somebody help me....
