You might care to give some consideration as to the thought processes of
those persons behind the scenes of your "kind of reminds me of" scenario.
(See below.)

I don't believe that you will find the focus of discontent between the two
instances to be of similar origin.

What people come to understand out of the pursuit of any purpose is largely
defined by the manner in which they perceive it to have been constructed and
effected.

To lose sight of that in defference to the singular focus of an end result
is where all too many miss their greatest opportunities.
