That still doesn't answer the question. Why are people who are invited to a fund raising event - with the obvious hope that their presence as experienced biodieselers will lend the appearance of support and "mass" - offhandedly dismissed as "whee[ing] off [Mr. Tickel's] juice" when they express disappointment with the obvious lost opportunity for biodiesel information to be disseminated to the public and that their presence and voice was marginalized, being implemented only in the last minutes of the event and after 85% of the "crowd" had dispersed?

The ends do not justify the means. Relative to the perception of whether it is Mr. Tickel that is being promoted or biodiesel, it doesn't take much more than a tap on the J.T tab at the top right hand of the toolbar at www.veggievan.org to get a first hand demonstration of the overlap of ego and biofuels. Whomever Mr. Tickel's composite editor/managers are, they should be fired and replaced by others with some degree of competence in selling a product. Up to this point their work is providing nothing more than substantiation to the observations of ego competing head to head with the pursuit of biofuels.
