Correct. If CO2 is pollution then the U.S. is the biggest single polluter. The article stated elsewhere (I got tired of transcribing) that the reason the lawsuit is against the Australians and the U.S. is that Australia is the largest per capita polluter and I think maybe it said it was followed by the U.S. by that measure, and that the U.S. is the largest polluter overall.
