It's not about biodiesel and NOx, it's about a bug that'll devour
toxic waste, including radioactive waste:
http://infoarchive.net/sgroup/biofuel/30233/1/

Nuclear energy and waste problems have often been discussed here,
there was recent discussion on possibilities of a GE microorganism
that could remove the glycerin from vegetable oil rather than the
usual chemical methods, and the article mentions that the bacterium
can clean up toluene, which is a diesel emissions air-pollutant, is
used in the acid-number test, and is a component of some biodiesel
winterising agents.

Anyway, NOx isn't necessarily emitted in large amounts from
biodiesel, sometimes it's more than petrodiesel, sometimes less,
depending on the engine and, probably, the test procedures. Retarding
the injection timing helps to reduce it, and since biodiesel contains
no sulphur you can use catalytic converters to cut the NOx right down.

Maybe they eat it? Dunno... I was wondering about the connection
between TNT and many Energy Department waste sites. Peculiar form of
energy, TNT.
