I'm putting together a small buy from Parallel Products as soon as the holidays are over -- four 15 gal. poly drums on a pallette. Price is right around your figure, but the freight is hefty, of course. If anyone wanted experimental quantities in the Bay Area, I could sell a little of it at cost (incl. freight). I emailed David Blume at alcoholcanbeagas cuz someone mentioned they were going to start a fuel ethanol depot in Santa Cruz, but he never responded. Another long shot might be to try to hook up with the oil refineries in North Bay -- they get railcars full of fuel grade EtOH from the Midwest, to blend with gasoline.
