If I were to change my thinking about a variable speed drill type mixer and go to a pump, would an ordinary washing machine water pump do the job ? Monday I hear about a continuous supply of lye (sodium hydroxide)and I need to know about this and the other posts before going ahead with the building of a 10 gal (45 liter)processor. I, of course, will be doing a test batch first of all, but by next week I need to know what I am going to do as that is when the processor will be made.
