My post was realy a comment on the shaping of the public by the media and whoever is trying to push the point from behind the scenes (oil companies?). It just is increcible to me that both sides of the story were not portrayed in a equal manner and the benefits of using a renewable form of enegy was not even mentioned in the campain to remove ethanol from our fuel. Even I was conned to an extent until I did some research and found the journey to forever site and realised that engines are quite happy on ethanol with a change to the fuel system, then stunned that the manufacturers even build cars that are designed to run ethanol with no problems in the States (that isnt told to the Aussie public either)

Why push for alternative energy when biofuel is a solution? > > > > Biofuels are alternative energies! yes I realise biofuels are alternative energies (perhaps more a renewable energy) although using conventional technology, I kind of was refering to solar, electric vehicles and less so fuel cells (I do believe fuelcells show great potential however) I hope this clears up my point of view.
