Elan, Ithaca Festival would love to have CU students involved in building our up our sustainability initiative for 08. The event itself is committed to being zero waste (we compost all food waste, use solar cells for some of our power needs, will advise vendors to use compostable dinner ware and recycled paper products, and more..); we have traditionally held a "sustainability fair" as an informational / educational component of the Festival, and this year I plan on incorporating a "green design expo" to this years' program. The students would be a great asset to this years administrative efforts!
Let me know what more I can do. Thanks, Jake ps. happy new year!
