Friends and Colleagues: I am especially excited about a new – Summer 2008 – opportunity for rising high school seniors: Introduction to Green Entrepreneurship is a three-credit course taught by Gary Lim, entrepreneur, ESF Visiting Professor, and Kauffman Foundation Entrepreneurship Professor, along with other instructors. Would you please share this information with rising high school seniors (that is, students who will be in 12th grade in the 2008-09 school year). This is their chance to experience a college-level course and jump-start their education and career Complete course and registration information is available at _www.esf.edu/outreach/green_ (http://www.esf.edu/outreach/green) Intro to Green E-Ship reflects ESF’s longstanding commitment to sustainability and the commitment we share with business, education, public and nonprofit organizations to engage young people in learning experiences that help them to improve our world. This course reflects ESF’s and our region’s timely and critical leadership in renewable energy research and education. Intro to Green Entrepreneurship will meet 8:00 – 4:30 Monday – Friday, July 28 – August 1 with special guest speakers early Wednesday evening (dinner provided). Please note: Students are encouraged to register early. We anticipate considerable demand for this program and space is limited.
