Hi, Margaret, Andy and All.  I realize we are heading even more off 
topic, but, referring back to Margaret's comment on vinyl plastics, 
the BPA hazards are, from my professional view point, trivial 
relative to the off-gassing of vinyl chloride monomer--that nice "new 
car" smell.  Vinyl chloride is a known human carcinogen, teratogen 
and mutagen and it is used to such a large extent as an industrial 
compound that there is a separate OSHA standard governing its use, as 
there is for formaldehyde.   I think the vinyl chloride will get you 
long before the BPA can do much, although we don't want the infants 
to get much of either.   Have a wonderful day.   Tom
