Adrian, If you can't find anyone who wants them for reuse projects, you can put them in a clear plastic bag and take them to the Tompkins County Recycling Center. The drop-off bin is in the first bay. Textiles and clothing collected at the center go to a sorting facility that salvages wearable items and sends appropriate fabrics to be made into cleaning rags. Not a perfect solution but better than landfilling.
