employees and families from 11 am to 1 pm on April 22. See below for

CBORD Earth Day Event for Employees
11am - 1pm, Wednesday, April 22, 2009, CBORD Cafeteria
Any groups interested in getting involved in doing a small display and/or
demonstration can contact me [Melissa] by Tuesday evening. We are looking
to get more people involved and help teach our employees on living green and
what our community has done and is doing with the environment. This would be
very informal. We have approx. 250 employees here in the Ithaca office. It
just so happens this is also CBORD's Bring Your Child to Work Day...so we
will have children here as well.
At this point we are planning:
- offering informative materials on recycling and Earth Day
- launching a new recycling and composting at the facility ( educate
employees on more green initiatives and being environmentally concious)
- tree seedling giveaways when submitting a "green" tip
- Display from SewGreen
- Shrubs and Trees for the day from Cayuga Landscape to get "earthy feel"
inside CBORD café.
